Atlanta, GA – Injuries Reported in Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-20/Lowery Blvd

Atlanta, GA (May 8, 2025) – Multiple individuals sustained injuries following a serious multi-vehicle crash that occurred during the early hours of May 8 on the eastbound lanes of I-20 near Exit 55 at Lowery Boulevard. Emergency dispatchers received numerous 911 calls about the crash, prompting a swift response from Fulton County first responders and the Georgia State Patrol (GSP). According to early reports, several vehicles were involved in the collision. Medical personnel arrived at the scene and provided immediate on-site treatment to several victims. Two individuals were transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation and care. Authorities have not yet released the names of those involved, but all victims are reported to have sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The cause of the accident remains under investigation by the Georgia State Patrol.
