Birmingham, AL – Crash with Injuries on I-20 W at Exit 136

Birmingham, AL (February 7, 2025) – A traffic collision on westbound Interstate-20 at milepost 137.68, near Exit 136 for I-459, left multiple people injured on Friday, February 7. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) reported that at least two vehicles were involved in the accident, which occurred during the mid-morning hours.   Emergency medical services responded to the scene, treating those injured on-site.

At least one individual was transported to a nearby hospital for further medical attention. Officials have not yet released details regarding the extent of the injuries. Authorities are examining whether speeding, distraction, or other factors contributed to the collision.
