Bolton, MS (November 3, 2024) – On November 2, a serious collision involving two 18-wheelers and a passenger vehicle occurred on Interstate 20 West near mile marker 20 in Hinds County, just outside Bolton. The Mississippi Highway Patrol reported that one of the 18-wheelers began leaking hazardous materials following the crash, prompting a swift response from local emergency services and hazmat crews. Initial reports indicate that both truck drivers sustained non-life-threatening injuries. At the same time, the passenger in the involved vehicle was transported to the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) for treatment.
