Bolton, MS – Wreck Involving Multiple Vehicles on I-20 Causes Injuries

Bolton, MS (February 26, 2025) – A multi-vehicle accident on I-20 westbound near Bolton in Hinds County occurred on Wednesday morning, February 26.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to the crash involving two 18-wheelers and a passenger vehicle, one of which resulted in injuries and a hazardous materials (hazmat) leak.

According to authorities, both truck drivers emerged from the accident without injuries, while the driver of the passenger vehicle was also unharmed. However, a passenger in the vehicle sustained injuries and was transported to the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) for further evaluation.

The severity of their condition has not been disclosed. The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.
