Cobb Co., GA – Injuries Reported in Crash on I-20 E Near Six Flags Pkwy.

Cobb County, GA (April 21, 2025) – A multi-vehicle crash on the eastbound lanes of Interstate 20 near Six Flags Parkway (mile marker 47.4) resulted in several injuries on April 21, according to local reports. The Cobb County Police Department and Cobb County Fire & Emergency Services responded swiftly to the scene after receiving multiple 911 calls around mid-morning.  Several occupants sustained injuries and were transported to a medical facility for further treatment. One lane was temporarily shut down for cleanup and investigation, causing major delays in the eastbound direction. Authorities are still working to determine the exact cause of the crash.
