DeKalb Co, GA – Injuries Reported in Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-20 WB/Panola Rd

DeKalb County, GA (April 16, 2025) – A multi-vehicle collision that occurred on April 16 along westbound I-20 near Panola Road (Exit 71) left several people injured. According to the Georgia State Patrol, the crash involved several vehicles and occurred around rush hour traffic. Witnesses reported that one vehicle lost control and collided with the back of another, triggering a chain reaction that led to the involvement of multiple cars. Emergency personnel from DeKalb County and state troopers quickly arrived at the scene to assess the damage and attend to the injured. Multiple individuals sustained injuries, with one requiring transportation to a nearby hospital for further evaluation. Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the accident, and no charges have been filed at this time.
