DeKalb Co., GA – Two-Vehicle Crash on I-20 Kills One, Hurts Two

DeKalb County, GA (April 22, 2025) – A tragic two-vehicle collision on the eastbound side of Interstate 20 near Wesley Chapel Road claimed one life and left two others injured early Monday morning, April 21. DeKalb County Police responded to the crash scene around 3:51 a.m., where they discovered the aftermath of a violent crash that had pushed one of the vehicles into the median wall. The force of the impact was severe, and one driver was tragically pronounced dead at the scene due to the extent of their injuries.

Emergency medical services assessed the scene and transported the surviving driver and a passenger from the second vehicle to a nearby hospital. While their injuries have been described as serious, both victims were reported to be in stable condition as of the latest updates. The cause of the crash has not been determined, but DeKalb County Police continue to look into all contributing factors.
