DeKalb, GA – Injuries Reported in I-20 Crash near Panola Rd

DeKalb, GA (May 26, 2024) – On May 26, a serious accident was reported on the eastbound I-20, just past Panola Road (exit 71). The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) received numerous calls about the incident, which blocked two lanes and resulted in multiple injuries. Several emergency vehicles were dispatched to the scene to provide necessary medical assistance and manage traffic. Upon arrival, DeKalb County Police and fire units attended to the injured individuals, some of whom required transportation to local hospitals for further care. Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the crash.
