Fort Worth, TX – Fatal Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-20 Leaves Two Dead
Fort Worth, TX (December 23, 2025) – A devastating multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 20 near Granbury Road claimed the lives of two people and left another critically injured on Tuesday, December 22. According to the Fort Worth Police Department, the collision occurred around 2:20 a.m. and involved a pickup truck and an SUV traveling along the interstate.
Investigators confirmed that the impact was severe enough to eject a passenger from one of the vehicles, who was pronounced dead at the scene despite immediate life-saving efforts. Both drivers were reportedly trapped inside their vehicles due to extensive damage and had to be extricated by authorities.
One of the drivers succumbed to their injuries at the scene, while the second driver was transported to a nearby medical facility in critical condition for emergency treatment. The identities of the victims have not yet been released, pending notification of next of kin.
