Grand Prairie, TX – One Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-20/Carrier Pkwy

Grand Prairie, TX (April 5, 2025) – A deadly multi-vehicle collision occurred late Saturday morning, April 5, on eastbound Interstate 20 near Carrier Parkway, resulting in one fatality. According to the Grand Prairie Police Department, the incident occurred around 11:30 a.m. on April 5. Authorities report that a Dodge vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed struck a Ford pickup truck, colliding with a Hyundai sedan.

The driver of the Dodge was seriously injured in the crash and was transported to a nearby medical facility. Tragically, he was later pronounced dead at the hospital. The occupants of the Ford and Hyundai were evaluated at the scene and reported no injuries. Investigators spoke with witnesses who confirmed that the Dodge had been speeding before the collision. The Grand Prairie Police Department is currently leading the investigation and is working to reconstruct the events leading up to the crash. The identity of the deceased driver has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.
