Gregg County, TX – Major Injury Crash on I-20 EB at SH-135

Gregg County, TX (May 29, 2024) – A serious multi-vehicle accident on May 28 injured I-20 Eastbound at mile marker 586 near State Highway 135. The crash occurred during the afternoon prompting an extensive emergency response. Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) troopers and local emergency services arrived at the scene to assist the injured and manage the situation. Several individuals were hurt in the crash, with at least three being transported to a nearby hospital for further medical care. Authorities spent several hours clearing the scene and investigating the cause of the accident. The Texas DPS continues to investigate the details surrounding the crash.
