Hinds County, MS – 18-Wheeler Accident on I-20 Near MM 19 Causes Lane Closure

Hinds County, MS (November 7, 2025) – A crash involving an 18-wheeler caused significant delays on Wednesday morning, November 5, along Interstate 20 westbound near the 19-mile marker in Hinds County.

According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol, the truck lost its load, leading officials to close one lane as crews worked to remove debris from the roadway. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident. The Mississippi Department of Transportation estimated that the cleanup and lane closure would last approximately 55 minutes after the crash, which occurred around 9:30 a.m.
