Irondale, AL (May 17, 2024) – A multi-vehicle collision on I-20 Westbound before the I-459 exit (Exit 136) in Irondale led to injuries on Friday, May 17. The crash entailed a rapid response from local authorities and emergency personnel. Upon arriving at the scene, the Irondale Police Department and paramedics provided immediate assistance to those injured. Some victims were treated on-site, while others were transported to local medical facilities for more extensive care. The cause of the accident is currently under investigation.
