Kilgore, TX – Serious Injury Semi-Truck Crash on I-20 near SH-31 & SH-42

Kilgore, TX (January 3, 2026) – A truck driver suffered serious injuries following a multi-vehicle collision involving several semi-trucks on Interstate 20 in Kilgore on Friday, January 2.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash occurred near the intersection of State Highway 31 and State Highway 42. Trooper Adam Albritton stated that the collision involved an unknown number of commercial trucks. One of the semis was transporting ceramic tile, which spilt across the roadway during the impact.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene shortly after the crash was reported. Paramedics located one truck driver with severe injuries. He was stabilised at the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital for emergency medical treatment.
