Lakeview, AL (November 6, 2024) – A multi-vehicle crash took place Wednesday afternoon, November 6 on the westbound lanes of I-20/59 at Exit 100 in Lakeview, resulting in injuries. Alabama State Troopers responded to the accident near milepost 100.81 around 3:00 p.m. The accident involved at least two vehicles, one of which reportedly collided with another while merging near the exit ramp. Paramedics attended to several injured passengers on-site before transporting them to further medical treatment at a nearby hospital. Authorities worked to clear debris and investigate the cause of the crash. The Alabama Department of Transportation confirmed that all lanes reopened after nearly two hours.
