Lakeview, AL – Crash on I-20/59 WB Ramp Near Exit 97 Leaves Victims Injured

Lakeview, AL (January 6, 2025) – A crash involving multiple vehicles occurred Monday morning, January 6 on the westbound ramp of I-20/59 near mile marker 96.53, close to Exit 97: US-11/AL-5. The incident took place at around 8:15 a.m. and resulted in several injuries. Lakeview Police and Alabama State Troopers quickly responded to the scene to assist those involved. Preliminary reports indicate that a chain reaction collision occurred due to heavy traffic on the ramp, leaving multiple victims requiring medical attention.
