Odessa, TX – Fatal Pedestrian Accident on I-20 in The 300 Block Claims One Life

Odessa, TX (September 15, 2023) – Tragedy struck on the afternoon of Thursday, September 14th when a fatal pedestrian accident occurred on the westbound lanes of Interstate-20, in the 300 block.

The Odessa Police Department (OPD) and Odessa Fire Rescue responded to the crash to assess the situation and provide assistance.

Upon arrival, the first responders confirmed that a pedestrian had ventured onto the roadway and was tragically struck by two vehicles. Despite immediate response from first responders, the victim was pronounced dead at the crash site.

Regrettably, the identity of the victim remains undisclosed at this time, as authorities work to notify their next of kin.

The Odessa Police Department continues its investigation into this incident, aiming to provide clarity regarding the circumstances surrounding this unfortunate accident.
