Shreveport, LA – Injuries in Crash on I-20 E near W Bert Kouns Loop

Shreveport, LA (May 6, 2025) – Several individuals sustained injuries following a multi-vehicle collision on the eastbound lanes of Interstate 20 in Shreveport on the morning of May 6. According to the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), the accident occurred shortly past the West Bert Kouns Industrial Loop, a busy section of the interstate known for its high traffic volume during morning hours. Emergency crews from the Shreveport Police Department responded swiftly to the scene. One person was reportedly treated at the site for non-life-threatening injuries, while others were transported to nearby medical facilities for further evaluation and care. Their current conditions have not been publicly disclosed. Investigators from the Shreveport PD are continuing to determine the cause of the crash.
