Smith Co., TX – I-20 Truck and Car Crash Leaves Injuries Reported

Smith County, TX (December 17, 2025) – A serious multi-vehicle accident involving a passenger car and an 18-wheeler was reported on Wednesday on Interstate 20 in Smith County, according to local authorities. The collision occurred on December 17 near mile marker 560, close to the Lavender Road area. Officials with Smith County Emergency Services confirmed that the passenger vehicle became pinned beneath the tractor-trailer following the impact.
