Tuscaloosa, AL – Injuries in Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-20/59 at Exit 76

Tuscaloosa, AL (May 2, 2025) – A multi-vehicle collision occurred on the westbound lanes of Interstate 20/59 near Exit 76: US 11/Skyland Boulevard in Tuscaloosa on May 2, resulting in injuries. According to an Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) report, the crash involved at least three vehicles and occurred around mile marker 76, just before the busy Skyland Boulevard exit. The Tuscaloosa Police Department responded swiftly to the scene, working with state troopers to assess the situation and redirect traffic. Paramedics evaluated several victims on-site, and at least two individuals were transported to DCH Regional Medical Center with moderate injuries. The identities of those involved have not been released at this time. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
