Tuscaloosa, AL – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-20/59 WB/Exit 71B Leaves Injuries

Tuscaloosa, AL (November 30, 2025) –Injuries were reported after a multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 20/59 westbound near Milepost 73.23 at Exit 71B toward I-359 on Sunday, November 30. Alabama State Troopers responded shortly after the crash was reported and found multiple vehicles blocking the westbound lanes. Initial reports indicate that the collision involved at least two vehicles traveling during the morning rush, leading to significant traffic backup in the area.

Troopers assessed the injured victims at the scene, with at least one person requiring transportation to a nearby medical facility for further evaluation.   Crews worked to safely clear the roadway and reopen the affected lanes once damaged vehicles were removed. Authorities have not yet released the identities of those involved, but they confirmed that the investigation into what caused the crash remains active.
