Tuscaloosa, AL – Multiple-Vehicle Collision on I-20/59/MM 68 Leaves Injuries

Tuscaloosa, AL (April 17, 2025) – A multi-vehicle crash caused injuries along I-20/59 in Tuscaloosa County on Thursday afternoon, April 17. According to Corporal Reginald King with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, the collision occurred around 12:30 p.m. near Mile Marker 68, just outside the city of Tuscaloosa. Several vehicles were involved in the crash, resulting in multiple people sustaining injuries of varying severity. Authorities responded swiftly to the scene, where paramedics and troopers worked together to assess and assist those involved. Several individuals were transported to nearby medical facilities for further evaluation, while others received on-site treatment. The identities of the injured have not yet been released.  The Alabama State Troopers have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the crash, and no further details have been shared at this time.
