Birmingham, AL – Pedestrian Killed in Crash on I-20 WB Near Oporto-Madrid Blvd

Birmingham, AL (November 21, 2025) – A pedestrian was struck and killed on Wednesday, November 19, on Interstate 20 in Birmingham. The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 32-year-old Kaleb Dorsett Timmons.

The collision occurred just after 12:30 AM in the westbound travel lanes between Oporto-Madrid Boulevard and First Avenue South. Authorities said Timmons was walking in the roadway when a vehicle hit him. First responders arrived quickly, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver involved stopped immediately and reported the crash to the police. No additional injuries were reported.
