DeKalb Co., GA – Injury Crash Reported on I-20 WB/Candler Rd

DeKalb County, GA (September 23, 2025) – A crash with injuries was reported on Wednesday morning, September 24, on I-20 westbound near Exit 65 for Candler Road. According to the Georgia State Patrol, multiple vehicles collided in the westbound lanes shortly before 9:00 a.m., causing delays in the area. At least one person sustained injuries in the collision.

Emergency crews provided on-site medical assistance, and one victim was later transported to a nearby hospital for additional evaluation. Traffic in the westbound lanes was slowed as troopers and first responders worked to investigate the cause of the crash and clear the roadway. Tow trucks were dispatched to remove the damaged vehicles from the scene.
