Shreveport, LA – Injury Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-20 E Near MM 26

Shreveport, LA (June 9, 2025) – Multiple injuries were reported after a multi-vehicle accident on the eastbound lanes of Interstate 20 East, between mile markers 26 and 28, in Shreveport on the evening of June 9. According to the Louisiana State Police, the crash occurred just before rush hour and involved several passenger vehicles. The exact number of people injured has not been released, but first responders at the scene confirmed that several individuals sustained moderate injuries. Emergency medical personnel from Shreveport EMS provided on-site treatment to the injured, while at least two individuals were transported to a nearby medical facility for further evaluation. Traffic in the area was severely impacted, with both lanes temporarily closed to allow emergency crews to clear debris and assist victims.
