Arlington, TX – Man Loses Life in Three-Car Pileup on I-20 near Carter Rd

Arlington, TX (March 6, 2023) – A man has lost his life due to a motor vehicle accident in the Arlington area early Saturday morning, March 4.

Just before 3:00 a.m., troopers with the Texas Department of Public Safety were called to the scene of a car crash that took place on Interstate 20.

Preliminary reports show that a collision between a GMC Yukon and a Toyota Avalon occurred on the westbound side of Interstate 20 near Carter Road. As the two vehicles came to a rolling stop on the roadway, a 2020 GMC Sierra crashed into the Yukon.

The driver of the Yukon, who has not been identified, was severely hurt. Authorities rushed the victim to a local hospital, where he passed away from his injuries.

The driver of the Avalon was also transported to a hospital for the treatment of injuries.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
