Birmingham, AL – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-20 EB Leaves Several Injured

Birmingham, AL (August 21, 2025) – A multi-vehicle accident on Thursday morning, August 21, left several people injured along I-20 eastbound near East Lake. The crash occurred between 1st Avenue North (Exit 130B) and Oporto-Madrid Boulevard (Exit 132A), according to the Alabama Department of Transportation.

The Birmingham Police Department responded quickly to the scene, finding several occupants sustained injuries during the collision.
