Columbia, SC – Injury Multi-Vehicle Wreck on I-20 Near MM 79

Columbia, SC (June 24, 2025) – According to the South Carolina Department of Transportation, a multi-vehicle crash resulted in injuries on the afternoon of June 24 along Interstate 20 near mile marker 79. Emergency crews and the South Carolina Highway Patrol were dispatched to the scene shortly after the crash was reported. Authorities confirmed that at least two vehicles were involved in the incident, though the total number of occupants and the extent of damage remain under investigation.

Medical personnel arrived promptly and assessed the injured at the scene. At least one person was transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation and treatment.
