Atlanta, GA – Fatal Four-Vehicle Crash on I-20 Near Lee St Claims One Life

Atlanta, GA (June 25, 2025) – A deadly multi-vehicle crash occurred on June 25, leading to the shutdown of westbound lanes on I-20 near Lee Street in Atlanta, resulting in the tragic death of one man. The Georgia State Patrol responded to the scene shortly after the accident occurred around 3:30 a.m. Four vehicles were involved in the collision, including an SUV that came to rest underneath a tractor-trailer. Emergency services worked swiftly to assess the situation and control traffic around the wreckage. Authorities confirmed that 35-year-old Lawrence Perrino lost his life at the scene due to the injuries sustained in the crash. The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office later identified Perrino.
