DeKalb Co., GA – Injury Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-20 E/Wesley Chapel Rd.
DeKalb County, GA (September 8, 2025) – A multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 20 eastbound at Wesley Chapel Road (Exit 68) left several people injured on Monday, September 8, according to the Georgia State Patrol.
The accident happened during the evening commute, causing heavy traffic backups throughout the area. Several vehicles were involved in the collision, blocking multiple lanes as troopers and local firefighters responded. Injured victims received on-site medical care, and at least one individual was transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation.
Authorities worked to secure the scene, directing traffic away from the crash site while tow trucks cleared the damaged vehicles.
