Douglasville, GA – Injuries Reported in Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-20 at Exit 37

Douglasville, GA (July 4, 2025) – A multi-vehicle crash with reported injuries occurred on the eastbound lanes of Interstate 20 near Fairburn Road (Exit 37) in Douglasville on July 4. The collision occurred during the early morning hours, prompting a swift response from Douglasville Police and Georgia State Patrol.  According to officials, all eastbound lanes were blocked by the involved vehicles and responding emergency units.

Multiple vehicles were damaged in the crash, with debris scattered across the highway. Responders on the scene provided immediate aid to those injured. At least two individuals sustained injuries and were transported to nearby hospitals for further evaluation and treatment. Investigators from the Georgia State Patrol are actively working to determine the cause of the crash.
