Nolan Co., TX – 1 Killed, 2 Injured in Three-Vehicle Crash on I-20 Near FM 608

Nolan County, TX (November 28, 2025) – A three-vehicle crash on Interstate 20 near Farm to Market Road 608 claimed the life of one man and left two others injured on November 26, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The crash occurred just before 5:30 p.m. when 33-year-old Christopher Cardoza of Roscoe was driving south on FM 608. Authorities say he attempted to turn left onto the I-20 service road and collided with another vehicle that was turning right onto the same roadway.

Following the initial impact, Cardoza’s vehicle crossed an embankment and entered the eastbound lanes of I-20, where it struck a third vehicle. That vehicle was pushed off the highway and into a nearby parking lot.

Cardoza was pronounced dead at the scene. The drivers of the two other vehicles were transported to a nearby hospital with injuries described as minor.

The crash remains under investigation by the Texas Department of Public Safety. No additional details have been released at this time.
