Dallas, TX – Fatal Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-20 at U.S. 67 Claims Life

Dallas, TX (June 26, 2025) – A deadly multi-vehicle crash occurred early Thursday morning, June 26, on I-20 near the U.S. Highway 67 interchange, leading to at least one confirmed fatality. The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office reported that the crash happened around 7:00 a.m. in the westbound lanes of I-20. Initial reports confirmed that multiple vehicles were involved, but the exact number of vehicles and victims remains unclear. First responders, including units from the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office and local emergency services, arrived promptly at the scene to assist. One individual was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not yet released the identity of the deceased pending notification of the next of kin. Drivers were advised to avoid the area as significant delays and congestion were reported throughout the morning rush hour. The cause of the crash is still under investigation by the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office.
